Select lots of grapes are chosen from our vineyards in Sonoma County to create this beautifully-balanced and full-bodied Ferrari-Carano Merlot. This is a velvety wine with a complex nose of cherry cobbler, blackberry caramel and vanilla intricately woven with lingering flavors of baked berry pie, cinnamon and spice. This wine has a viscous and full mouthfeel, impressive length and velvety tannins.
The fruit for our 2008 Ferrari-Carano Cabernet Sauvignon comes primarily from mountain-grown fruit in Alexander Valley. With aromas of dark cherry, vanilla, mocha and earthy elements of mineral, this wine delights with delicious flavors of vibrant, red berry pie, caramel and fresh boysenberry on the finish. Lingering sweet oak notes add excellent depth and characterize this lovely Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2008 from Napa is 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, enhanced with 5% Merlot, 2% Syrah, 2% Petite Sirah, 8% other reds. The wine opens with wonderfully fresh aromas of blackberry jam, plum and red licorice followed by delicate rose petal notes. Full-bodied, with firm tannins and acidity, it delivers blackberry and ripe plum flavors coupled with hints of dried sage and sweet vanilla.
A distinct and subtle Chardonnay, in a medium full style. It is dry, smoothly textured, well balanced, and quite long on the palate, with a lingering finish. Its flavors are complex and restrained, reminiscent of peach, pear and apple, with overtones of vanilla, toast and spicy oak.
The 2009 is 89% Pinot Noir, 5% Petite Sirah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. This Monterey County Pinot Noir opens with aromas of ripe, red cherry, vanilla and undertones of earthy clove and mushroom. Rhubarb flavors are layered with accents of toasted vanilla and soft tannins, delivering a balanced, medium-bodied wine with a smooth finish. Pairs well with grilled salmon, medium-hard cheeses, spicy Asian dishes.

The grapes for Purple Cowboy come primarily from Paso Robles, the largest appellation in San Luis Obispo County on California’s famed Central Coast. Dark red with hints of purple. Aromas of ripe plum, cherry and cassis are accented with cola and vanilla.

A blend of Mendocino Cabernet Sauvignon (88%) and Merlot (12%) sourced from various regions in California. This wine spent 14 months in a combination of French and American oak. Bright berry, vanilla and cedar notes are prominent in the nose of this Cabernet Sauvignon. Throughout the palate, cherry is the star of the show. It’s joined by a host of other characteristics such as blueberry, plum and white pepper notes. Additional cedar, as well as bramble emerge in the finish. The tannins are light and give way easily, leading to a very approachable wine.

A WineMasters Selection. This 2010 is made from 60 year old vines that produce some of Lodi's best grapes. This Zinfandel exhibits aromas and lush flavors of blackberry, white pepper, plum and oak all wrapped in a smooth supple medium-bodied texture.
Classic aromas of blackberry, cherry, and dry herb notes are wrapped by toasted vanilla and soft, mouth-filling tannins. It's elegant and supple. Aged in oak for 19 months and then carefully blended to bring out the true character of the varietal.
