Renowned winemakers David Ramey and Daniel Moore have created another Russian River Valley Pinot Noir masterpiece for Fog Crest. Napa Valley Winery Exchange notes: "Bright, fresh, rich and forthcoming, the aromas of this very engaging Pinot are a focused mix of red cherry, lingonberry, red plum and red raspberry, with more subtle undercurrents of smoke, tobacco and black tea leaves. It is just as fruit-forward on the palate, where the texture is zesty, but supple, and the savory notes remain in the background. The finish is long and bright, but the darker undercurrents make a stronger statement as the wine airs, which may indicate a possible shift in the wine's personality over the 18 months or so that this wine needs to fully show where it is going. 100 cases produced."
